Windows 10 & 11
Safe installation, initial UAC, Auto and day-to-day connection.
- 1
Run the official installer
Download SanazNet-Windows-Setup.exe from the Apps page. Initial setup may show one UAC prompt because the constrained privileged VPN component is installed at machine level.
- 2
Normal daily use runs as your user
After installation, launch SanazNet from the Start Menu. Normal Connect, Disconnect and Reconnect should not require a fresh UAC prompt each time; privileged operations use the constrained installed helper.
- 3
Sign in, Free or Premium
Use the same SanazNet account. Free may require sponsored activation; Premium removes that step during the subscription term. Account and device state are shared across supported platforms.
- 4
Auto and IKEv2 connection
Auto selects a ready node and SanazNet prepares and starts the Windows RAS/IKEv2 connection. A local profile is not entitlement by itself; the backend must authorize that device and node for the active access period.
- 5
Repair and upgrade
Running the official installer again can perform Repair/Upgrade. Because Program Files or the system component may need changes, this maintenance operation can require UAC again.
- 6
If Windows returns an error
Record the RAS error text or number. DNS/route failures can be transient; try another network first, and if the problem repeats, send Windows version, exact time and the error code to support.
